DISCOVERING YOUR PURPOSE

As long as you are alive, you definitely have a purpose for living. “It is said that the graveyard is the wealthiest place because a lot of people died without achieving their purpose in this world and so they died with all the gifts and talents given to them to accomplish their purpose. At this junction, I will like to remind you that everyone has a purpose, therefore, it will be necessary that you do everything you can to discover your purpose.

To discover your purpose, consider the following:

1. Discovering your purpose has everything to do with your spiritual life. It is only through the guidance of the Holy Spirit that you can know your purpose in this world. Grow your relationship with God and you can do these by the daily study of the bible, commitment in working for God, praying & fasting.

2. What is your talent and gift? God gave everyone at least one talent and gift. Some people were given more than one; however, these talents were given to us for a purpose which has everything to do with our purpose in life. Your talent is a unique feature you possess which when developed, can turn your life for the better. It is given to us to serve humanity. Unfortunately, many people neglect their talent to chase something else. That is why life is so difficult for a lot of people because they are working against their purpose. When you discover your talent and you develop it, you must try to use it positively, that way, you will be fulfilling your purpose in life.

3. Know what you are passionate about. What is it that you love doing? What makes you happy? What do you enjoy doing most of the time? What do you see yourself doing most of the time? If you can give answers to these questions then you have known what your passion is. Your passion plays a key role in discovering your purpose.



When you have discovered your purpose and you are working towards it, you will find out that you have peace of mind, and life will be meaningful to you because you will be impacting lives through fulfilling your purpose.
