Staying positive


I have just been so ungrateful! I didn’t realize how much God has given to me. I thought my life with muscular Dystrophy was the most difficult life to live until I saw a lot of black-Americans and white people who are in worst conditions.  God is God and for whom he is, he proves us wrong about life. From the videos I watched on youtube today about thebaxterboys, about a parent with oestogenesis-imperfecta who also adopted a child with the same condition; They are all on wheel-chair yet, they lived! God always makes a way, he is the omnipotent! The way maker and miracle worker, who doesn’t ever deny anybody of his love, he is right there, we just are unable to see him but if we pay more attention, we would.

I started crying after watching those videos on youtube, I was broken! Now I realized that I haven’t been thankful & grateful to God but he has been so patient with me. The problem is that most often than  not, we are so consumed with earthly desires, so much more that we forget what’s more important, which is to use our God-given talents/gifts for the betterment of mankind. You were given all those beautiful things/qualities to use them and better other people’s life. It is not for ours alone. Be happy and stay positive no matter your current situation, and this is only possible if you rely on God. Not being worried makes the devil so crazy! Because that is the complete opposite of what he wants. You know he is out here in the world to steal, kill and destroy the lives of people who let him.

I love the fact that God is so merciful and patient. Why lives seem unbearable amidst situation, it is not, in the actual sense, not being able to figure out what you are out here in the world to do is the most difficult part. But once that is done, you get happier and joyful fulfilling your dream. It is not the end, it continues in heaven so while being on earth; try to live the life that God wants you to live. Just live for him and him alone. We can do all things through Christ that strengthens us.

How I fell in and out of love

I am a bloody-vincentian; no apologies! One of our usual Vincentians Youth meetings, I saw this guy Nelson, dark complexion, tall, well-dressed (that's usually my first attraction to the opposite sex), sitted adjacent-right behind me. I can't remember how many times I turned my neck sideways to steal some gazes, my heart was pounding, I wanted to see if he noticed me, my hopes were and I wished he would find me attractive enough to return the gaze.
