HOW TO TREAT A VISITOR

Now lets talk...
You had a visitor in your house, are you suppose to ask the person whether you should bring food for the person or you are to serve what you have and let the person say "no" if he doesn't want?

Here are comments from my Facebook fan:

Pamela Niemogha Abanyam To serve what you have, in my place, asking means you don't want to give cos most pple will say no even when they are hungry out of shame

Ikechukwu Cito My take on this, in some case you can ask and in some case you serve without asking. Why is like this, is because in terms of Food you have to ask the person. But if is normal cola, like drink or cola nut, garden egg,etc...you don't need to ask that pe...See More

Prince Dozie In the African Culture, when you have a visitor or group of visitors, first of all get them water or juice to drink then offer them whatever you have for then to eat, visitor is a stranger so therefore asking if you should offer them food shows no sign of humanitarian, maybe if your family or closet friends come then you ask if you should offer them something or not! That's my take on this!!

D'best Monday Asking means you don't really want to serve him or her the food bt serving without asking shows it comes from your heart.

Augustine Akaire For me,it depends on the kind of person that visit you and the relationship btween the both of you.some may even demand for the food themselves without being asked, while some will say yes or no when asked nomatter the kind of food.still some may eat or not when served even if you didnt ask them before bringing the food.

Pamela Niemogha Abanyam Close friends and relatives are not considered as visitors, some can even Walk to the kitchen themselves, they should be kept aside

Mercy Hosea When asking it seems like u don't want to give the person so Serve the person, if he says no then u return the food
