When I was 2

It happened to me again this night but not as bad as it happened when I was 2years. It was a terrible experience though I was a child then, but I learnt about the sad story when I grew up. I was told that there was a party going on at my neighbors’, and the wire they connected passed through our corridor upstairs where we lived.

   

The wire happened to be naked at a point, and I playfully held the naked wire,

it threw me down and left me unconscious without anyone around. I was there lying almost dead when my aunt unknowingly came out, she screamed for help and then other family member rushed out and started out with first aid treatment (egg, milk etc). I was eventually rushed to the hospital and then later taken to LUTH. My mom said that I spent over 3 months in LUTH, and she usually comes to visit me, then whenever she was about leaving, I would start crying again.

I was eventually discharged when I got better, but that left a scar on my right second finger. This night, as I was about unplugging my phone, I carelessly held the head of my USB charger to pull it out from my phone, only to get shocked again at my left second finger, luckily for me, it was not so severe as the electric shock I had when I was 2.

One has to be careful especially with handling one's phone which almost no one can do without.  Our body conducts electricity just as the phone does, so any mishandling of the phone or phone accessories can result in catastrophe. We only have one life to live, so let’s live it carefully.
